Wasabi pills

Posted by Dagmar Haiku in Wasabi Pills

Dagmar Haiku

In the battle she lost all her twelve brothers so she tried to kill herself when she supposed that their men would lose the fight. But her maid found her while she tried to cut herself.  She never planed to reign. She really didn`t like the idea of sitting on a throne and having to make desicions all the time. So she took the sword which was the symbol of the reign of her family for centuries and threw it into the ocean telling that the one who finds the sword will be the next king or queen. But she had a deal with the mermaids. They hid the swords while she was setting up democracy. Soon nobody was searching for the sword anymore as all got busy with making desicions.

The outfit on the picture is the gift in the Wasabi pills hunt. Today it is the last day of this hunt. All over the sim 10 treasure boxes are hidden. But not only the hunt gift is great behind the store is a garden which looks really great. There are even some ruins.

Photo-Op: Ruins of the Lost World

Photo-Op on SLDiscovery.com is a semi-regular feature that puts the spotlight on a Second Life spot that makes for a cool place at which to take photos inworld. Not an entire sim, not even a complete parcel, but just a single specific location - a spot.

Flickr members: join the SL Discovery Photo-Op group and add your pictures taken at Photo-Op spots to the group pool.

!! -->> Take note that several of the previous Photo-Op spots are already gone or changed in a significant way that renders those SLurls ineffective as originally intended. Very little in SL stays the same for long, so be sure to grab these opportunities as they come!

Come, come intrepid explorer, and join me as we step back in time to visit a world from out of time. What ancient civilization might have thrived here? What sort of lives did its citizens enjoy? What rites and rituals did they follow? Perhaps the answers are not for us to know, for this is the Lost World.

PO_LostWorld1

Observe the broken columns, the neglected structures, the remnants of a long forgotten society. There are murky pools amid dense foliage. Mother earth reclaims her own, and what you find here today may be unrecognizeably overgrown by tomorrow. So set your coordinates carefully and don't be led astray. There is an entire sim of mystery surrounding you, but what can be found at 84/83 is all you need for today's Photo-Op.

PO_LostWorld3

Surely you have something in inventory that is appropriate for this area. Something old, something weathered, something out of a storybook tale, perhaps. For there are plentiful stories to arise from these environs.

PO_LostWorld2

Portals beckon and draw you in. Pathways may entice you to wander. But with Windlight close and your camera ever closer, this Lost World spot will deliver the pictures you seek to find.

I'm using my very best Steve Irwin whisper for today's Photo-Op because we're going into the wilds of The LOLO sim at 112/51. Come closer here, but be cautious. Push the bushes aside and peak through into the clearing. Oh, there she is, the Lolo Pets roaming elephant: target acquired!

PO_Elephant1

Once she knows you're there, you can approach more openly, so go ahead. Take a good look at her mammoth flanks, lovely trunk and dangerous tusks. She's not as large as one might expect, but she still commands respect. You wouldn't want her stepping on your toes, would you?

PO_Elephant2

Go on up and introduce yourself; if you tell her your name, she'll tell you hers. Well maybe that only happened in my fantasy, but if you click on her, she will raise her trunk and trumpet! You can also hop onto her back, and she'll give you a ride around the area.

PO_Elephant3

The most recent time I visited this roaming elephant, she was stationary, and her lack of movement made it easier to capture these pictures. But the sim has probably been restarted since then, so expect her to be on the move, as is her normal state. Still, she's somewhat predictable, so you can set up the angle and Windlight of the shot you want, then just wait for her to move into position. If you're on her back, it's a little trickier lining up the camera, but a number of woops can be hidden or worked around in your paint program later.

Pssst...I got this cool safari outfit (in both male and female versions) for free by hunting small boxes at Vellas a few months ago. When I checked the shop again prior to posting this, I couldn't find the safari gear, so it may no longer be available. However, Vellas is having another instore hunt going on right now! It's a hunt of the "Purple Rue" until April 13. Find 9 purple boxes and you'll have a complete (female, gothic loli) outfit for free. Vellas' hunt gifts are generous, and the boxes are not too difficult to find.

Poses used in these pics are from Striking Poses, Izumiya, Long Awkward Pose and the elephant's own rider pose. Remember to click on the elephant just before you want her trunk raised. And if you fall in love and want to keep her, you'll find her vendor at the top of the nearby stairs.
